Coronavirus Update

What are we doing as an office to prevent COVID transmission?

  • clinical staff are wearing N 95 level masks and face shields when performing aerosol generating procedures
  • we are minimizing the use of aerosol generating procedures
  • we are staggering patient appointments to limit contact of people in the hallways, etc.
  • all patients and staff are screened for covid symptoms as well as having temperatures taken daily for staff members and prior to appointment for patients
  • if a staff member is ill, they are asked to stay home
  • our waiting room is currently 'closed' to limit in person interaction
  • masks are required for all non-clinical staff and patients
  • non-clinical areas that are considered high touch are disinfected numerous times daily
  • cough shields are in place in our front office areas
  • no visitors or extra family members are allowed in the clinic - patients only.
  • emphasis on frequent hand washing and hand sanitizer use
  • medical grade merv 13 air filters are in place and the air filtration system is always on
  • even though covid can't survive in a wet environment, the water lines in our  clinical areas are shocked with a strong cleaning agent for maximum disinfection
